Key points
- Most agency-built business websites in Dubai cost between AED 3,500 and AED 55,000 (about USD 950 to 15,000). Online stores and custom platforms cost more.
- The price depends less on the number of pages than on design, content, integrations and how carefully the site is built and tested.
- Two quotes for 'a website' are rarely for the same thing. Compare what is included, not the totals.
- Brnded17 brand websites start from AED 8,000 and Shopify stores cost AED 14,000 to 18,000, at a fixed quote.
In 2026, a professionally built business website in Dubai costs between AED 3,500 and AED 55,000, which is roughly USD 950 to 15,000 or EUR 850 to 13,300. A simple brochure site sits at the bottom of that range and a large bilingual corporate site at the top. Online stores and custom platforms cost more.
That is a wide range, and it is wide for a reason. This guide shows what each type of website costs, how agencies arrive at their prices, and why two quotes for what sounds like the same site can be AED 20,000 apart.
Website prices in Dubai by type of site
These are the ranges Dubai agencies published in their own 2026 price guides, converted at the fixed rate of AED 3.6725 to the US dollar and the European Central Bank’s euro rate of 2 October 2026. They exclude 5% VAT.
| Type of website | AED | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Do-it-yourself builder (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify Basic) | 45 to 150 a month | 12 to 40 a month | 11 to 36 a month |
| Freelancer-built brochure site | 1,000 to 8,000 | 270 to 2,200 | 240 to 1,950 |
| Agency-built basic brochure site, up to about 8 pages | 3,500 to 8,000 | 950 to 2,200 | 850 to 1,950 |
| Small business or brand website | 8,000 to 18,000 | 2,200 to 4,900 | 1,950 to 4,350 |
| Corporate site, 10 to 20 pages, English and Arabic | 12,000 to 55,000 | 3,250 to 15,000 | 2,900 to 13,300 |
| Online store, basic to growing | 10,000 to 45,000 | 2,700 to 12,300 | 2,450 to 10,900 |
| Online store, advanced or fully custom | 45,000 to 110,000+ | 12,300 to 30,000+ | 10,900 to 26,700+ |
| Custom web app or client portal | 20,000 to 150,000+ | 5,450 to 40,800+ | 4,850 to 36,400+ |
Two cautions. These figures come from agencies’ own marketing pages, so treat them as a guide to the market and not as an independent survey. And the ranges overlap because the scopes do: one agency’s “basic” is another’s “small business”.
How Dubai compares with the US, the UK and Europe
Dubai is not the cheapest place to build a website, and it is far from the most expensive.
- United States. The US agency WebFX puts freelancers at USD 500 to 10,000 and agencies at USD 3,000 to 30,000 or more. Clutch reports an average web design project of USD 38,105, while noting that most reviewed projects come in under USD 10,000.
- United Kingdom. A 2026 UK guide puts freelancers at GBP 500 to 4,000, studios at GBP 3,000 to 25,000 and full-service agencies at GBP 15,000 to 100,000.
- Germany. Freelancers charge EUR 800 to 5,000, small agencies EUR 2,500 to 8,000 and full-service agencies EUR 5,000 to 25,000, with online shops from EUR 5,000 to 50,000.
Hourly rates explain most of the gap. Clutch lists typical web development rates of USD 100 to 149 an hour in the US, USD 25 to 99 in Poland and under USD 25 in India. Published rates in the UAE run from about AED 90 to 130 an hour for developers to AED 150 to 300 an hour for specialist agencies.
How agencies set their prices
Almost every quote you receive is built in one of four ways.
- Fixed price. You agree what will be delivered and pay one figure for it. You know the cost before you start. The supplier carries the risk if the work takes longer, so a good fixed quote spells out exactly what is included.
- Hourly, or time and materials. You pay for the hours worked. It is flexible when the brief is unclear, but the final bill is unknown until the end. Clutch notes that most web development firms bill this way.
- Value-based. The price reflects what the result is worth to your business, not the hours behind it. It is common for work tied directly to revenue.
- Retainer. A monthly fee for ongoing work, such as maintenance, improvements or advertising.
Brnded17 quotes build work at a fixed price after a discovery call, and charges monthly only for things that are ongoing, such as care and hosting and ads management.
Why the same website gets very different quotes
Page count is the least useful way to compare quotes. These are the things that actually move the price, and the quality.
| What changes | The cheaper version | The better version |
|---|---|---|
| Design | A bought template with your logo and colours | Designed around your brand, your customers and what you want them to do |
| Content | You supply all the text and images | Copy written and structured for you, and for search |
| Speed | Whatever the template and its plugins allow | Built and tested to load fast on a phone |
| Search and AI visibility | A page title, if that | Structured data, sitemap, redirects from old pages and clear answers that search engines and AI assistants can quote |
| Languages | English only | English and Arabic with proper right-to-left layouts |
| Integrations | A contact form | Bookings, payments, WhatsApp, a CRM, analytics |
| Testing | A quick look on one laptop | Checked on phones, tablets and browsers, and for accessibility |
| After launch | You are on your own | Hosting, monitoring, backups and someone to call |
A low quote is not wrong and a high quote is not a rip-off. They are usually prices for different amounts of work. The useful question is not “why is this one cheaper?” but “what is missing from it?”
This is also why outcomes differ so much. A website that looks fine in a screenshot can still be slow, invisible to Google and impossible to update. Those problems do not show in a proposal. They show six months later, when the site has brought in no enquiries.
What a website costs to run
The build is a one-off. These are the costs that continue.
| Running cost | AED | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|
| .com domain, per year | about 65 | 18 | 16 |
| .ae domain, per year | about 145 | 39 | 35 |
| Shared hosting, per month | 39 to 69 | 11 to 19 | 9 to 17 |
| Basic maintenance plan, per month | 300 to 900 | 82 to 250 | 73 to 220 |
| Business maintenance plan, per month | 900 to 2,500 | 250 to 680 | 220 to 610 |
Do-it-yourself builders and Shopify bundle hosting into the subscription. Custom builds need hosting and upkeep arranged separately, which is what a care plan is for.

Prices are in UAE dirhams and exclude 5% VAT. The dollar and euro figures are conversions for reference.
We aim for a deliberate balance: affordable enough for a growing business, built to the standard of a far more expensive site. Three things make that possible.
- A modern stack. We build on Astro, Next.js and Shopify. Sites are fast by default, there are no plugin licences to pay for and far less to maintain. We explain the reasoning in WordPress or a modern stack.
- Fixed quotes. You know the figure before we start, and the quote lists what is included. If we misjudge the effort, that is our cost, not yours.
- No layers. You deal directly with the people doing the work, so you are not paying for account managers and hand-offs.
We also include the things cheaper builds leave out: search and AI visibility, structured data, redirects from your old pages and testing on real devices. We hold our own site to the same standard. In Google Lighthouse tests on 5 October 2026, brnded17.com scored 93 to 100 for performance and 100 for SEO on mobile.
Our aim on every project is simple: you should get more than you expected for the price you were quoted.
How to compare two website quotes
Before you choose, ask each supplier the same seven questions.
- Is the design custom, or a template?
- Who writes the content?
- Is the site built for phones first, and how fast will it load?
- What is included for Google and AI search?
- Is Arabic included, with right-to-left layouts?
- What happens to my current pages and their Google rankings?
- What does it cost each month after launch, and who do I call?
Put the answers side by side and the price difference usually explains itself. If you would like our answers for your project, start a conversation with Brnded17 and you will have a fixed quote after one call.
